Please join us on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, for lunch and an engaging conversation with Professor Stephen Vladeck regarding the “shadow docket.” Professor Vladeck is the Charles Allen Wright Chair in Federal Courts at the University of Texas School of Law, and his book, The Shadow Docket: How the Supreme Court Uses Stealth Rulings to Amass Power and Undermine the Public will be published in May of this year. He also co-hosts the National Security Law Podcast with fellow UT Law Professor Robert Chesney, and writes the weekly “One First” Substack, a weekly newsletter aiming to make the Supreme Court’s rulings, procedures, and history more accessible to all.
