Election Nuts and Bolts

Wednesday, October 21, 2026
Noon – 1pm
Have you ever wondered what happens to your ballot once you feed it into that machine at your polling place? What if you vote early or by mail? Likewise, what does the Canvassing Board do? And, what if on election day there is a hurricane or the power goes out? Please join us for a conversation with Duval County Supervisor of Elections, Jerry Holland, who will answer these questions and more. Supervisor Holland will take us on a behind the scenes tour of the work he and his staff oversee to ensure a smooth election process, as well as how they navigate voter questions, last minute court rulings, and elections that are “too close to call.”
