Swearing-in Ceremony for New Members of the Florida Bar

Friday, September 26
4:00 to 4:30pm (Reception)
4:30 to 5:00pm (Swearing-in)

The Jacksonville Federal Court Bar Association will host a swearing-in ceremony for new members of The Florida Bar in the ceremonial courtroom of the Bryan Simpson United States Courthouse. Chief Judge Howard will preside over the ceremony and will be joined by her colleagues. The Honorable Gerald Bard Tjoflat will administer the oath. The next president of The Florida Bar, Michael Orr, will welcome new members. Friends, family, and colleagues of the new attorneys are welcome to attend. We encourage all of our members to attend to welcome Jacksonville’s newest lawyers and celebrate with them. A small reception will precede the ceremony thanks to funding from the lawyers and judges of the Middle District of Florida Bench Bar Fund. Please share this announcement with anyone who may be interested. While we recognize that bar results are still pending, we ask anyone interested in attending to please sign up here so that we can plan accordingly.
