Summer Series: Hague Convention Hearing before the Honorable Marcia Morales Howard

Observe an evidentiary hearing (at the Bryan Simpson U.S. Courthouse, Courtroom 13A) pursuant to The Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction (the “Hague Convention”). Judge Howard will be available for questions and a lunchtime discussion in the ninth-floor conference room at noon. Lunch will be provided.

The Hague Convention hearing begins at 9:30 a.m. on June 11 and continues at 9:30 a.m. on June 12. The summer series event begins at 11:00 a.m. on June 11, but the full hearing is open to the public, subject to courtroom capacity. Attendees are encouraged to attend as much of the hearing as their schedules allow.

Reminders for every Summer Series event: Please arrive early to allow time for security screenings. Bring your driver’s license or other government-issued identification. The Court has granted a special exception to its no-electronics policy for these events, but all devices must be completely off in the courtrooms. The federal courthouse does not have dedicated parking. Metered street parking and paid garages are available near the courthouse.
