The Jacksonville Chapter of the Federal Bar Association is one of more than 80 local chapters across the country, in Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Chapter includes both regular and honorary members of the legal profession. Annual dues, along with applications for membership, including membership renewals, are due in October of each year. The Chapter is lead by a Board of Directors and an Executive Committee. The Board of Directors includes a President, President Elect, Vice President of Programming, Vice President of Membership, Secretary, and Treasurer. The Executive Committee includes the Board of Directors, as well as the immediate past president. Candidates for director positions are presented to the membership at a regular meeting in the last quarter of the year and are elected to a one year term in office commencing October 1 and ending on September 30. Any member of the Chapter may nominate a candidate for a director position. Nominations should be sent in writing to the President.
