The United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida Invites the Members of Jacksonville’s Legal Community to a Luncheon and Panel Presentation on October 22, 2015, from Noon to 1:30 p.m., at the Jacksonville Public Library to Celebrate the Publication of “Fifty Years of Justice, A History of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.”
The event will feature a panel discussion about the historic Jacksonville Division case of United States v. Karl Waldon with the Judges and lawyers who participated in the case: The Honorable Henry Lee Adams, Jr., Presiding Trial Judge; The Honorable Timothy J. Corrigan, Presiding Magistrate Judge; The Honorable James R. Klindt, Assistant U.S. Attorney; and A. Russell Smith, Defense Counsel; followed by a discussion about the book with the author, History Professor James M. Denham. This event is being held courtesy of the lawyers of the Bar of the Middle District of Florida through its Bench Bar Fund. There is no cost to attend the lunch and program.
